First of all thank you for visiting my site!  I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed putting it together.

My entire life I dreamed of being a chemist, like my dad.  I also always had an interest in art but everybody knows you can't make a living at it so I pursued a degree and a career in chemistry.  I worked in two labs while in college and quickly realized that chemistry and math and petri dishes were not as much fun as I had originally thought (I know, shocking right!?).
Right at the time that I began seeking a new career, a friend of mine was looking for a muralist.  Although I had never painted on that large of a scale before (I was mostly into drawing), I figured, “What the hey, I can paint, I’ll do it!”  That is how Anna Vieth Designs was born.

A few years later, I painted my first dog portrait of my old shepherd Miss Tubby.  She was a rescue that had us all fooled into thinking she was on her way over the rainbow bridge for seven years.  She finally decided it was time but is forever immortalized by the portrait I painted which constantly reminds me of her sass and sweetness.

She is survived by a chow X akida named Sanford who is quite possibly the smartest and best behaved dog in the world, and by an American bulldog X boxer named Tyson who is quite possibly the dumbest and worst behaved dog in the world (just kidding Tyson you know we love you).

We recently added a crazy kitty to the mix named Piper.  This little gray lady is a natural born killer who isn't afraid of dogs, coyotes, or flea combs.  She even tags along on our nightly walk with the dogs.
